Welcome to Sailor’s Dog Walking & Pet Care, LLC! We are one of the premier and leading pet care services in the Annapolis area. Sailor’s is a registered business with the State of Maryland and is in good standing. We are also insured and bonded through Pet Sitter’s Associates, as well as certified in cat and dog first aid by The American Red Cross.

Our mission is to bring the pet care industry into a more professional and modern setting. We offer exceptional and individualized care to your pet(s), and as a locally-owned business, we strive to provide them with the utmost care, love, and exercise while staying in the comfort of their own home. We know the importance of administering insulin shots, pills, powders, ear/eye drops, and other medications. Our company focuses on implementing affordable, reliable, individualized, and one-of-a-kind pet care to all. We service the areas of Eastport, Annapolis, Parole, and Edgewater, Maryland

Who is Sailor?

He’s our Chief Barking Officer (CBO) and our best friend. He helped us grow our passion for animals. Sailor enjoys going on car rides, meeting new friends, the dog park, and taking trips to the pet store. He also loves going on walks and taking naps. He‘s such a sweet boy who makes others smile and laugh. We realized the necessity of individualized pet care due to Sailor’s needs of having severe food allergies, epilepsy, diabetes, and the development of cataracts. Sailor showed us how truly amazing pets are and the understanding of care each pet deserves.

Amazing! We worked with Alexandra for in house pet sitting when we were going to be away for 10 days. She was so professional and thorough. She came for a meet and greet, met our dogs, walked the house with us, went over all their care (one dog is a bit higher need with meds) and she was so fantastic. The daily reports with pictures were perfect and the dogs loved their walks. She is so fantastic, it is so nice to find a wonderful, animal loving, trustworthy dog walker/sitter in the area. Alexandra took care of our two dogs and one turtle while we were away on vacation for a week. She did an amazing job and was very flexible with accommodating our dogs’ schedule and routines. I appreciated the regular communication and daily photos via the app. One of our dogs has Addison’s disease and the other had a leg issue requiring medication, so they are fairly high-maintenance, but Alexandra handled it all with flying colors. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Sailor’s again. Highly recommended!

Alexandra and Sailor’s Pet Care are WONDERFUL. We have a sort of odd couple of dogs-a big younger dog an a very small older (and grumpy) one. I always worry about my older guy when I leave him with someone because his temper can flare at any time and some sitters just can’t handle it. Alexandra is patient and even told me that she liked getting to know my dogs and learning their quirks and how to manage them-exactly what you would want in a petsitter.

I used to be nervous to the point that I couldn’t fully enjoy my vacations before we met Alexandra. Now, I have no worries when I leave my pets in her care. I highly recommend her and her company and am so happy to have found them!

I’m new to the area, so finding this service (and Alexandra) really eased my anxieties about leaving my elderly cat home alone while I was away. She is sweet, caring, and professional and took wonderful care of my cat. A huge plus to the service is having a mobile app where you can correspond with the sitter, who fills out a report card for each visit and sends pictures of your pet – such a sweet idea, and each time I saw them I had a massive smile on my face from hundreds of miles away. Very trustworthy and will absolutely use this service again.
